Jamar Celestine Jr., also known as “JC 2.0,” represents the type of rising student-athlete that O-Zone Athletics™ is proud to recognize. As a Middle School Athlete of the Week, Jamar quickly stood out for his energy, work ethic, and commitment to improving his game.

Even at the middle school level, Jamar demonstrates a rare combination of talent and focus. His dedication to training and development helped him achieve an impressive milestone—earning a scholarship offer from the University of Louisiana while still in the eighth grade, a reflection of both his ability and his future potential.

Jamar’s impact also extends beyond his local area. He is the only athlete selected to be spotlighted outside of the Northwest Louisiana community, highlighting the level of attention his performance, character, and development have received.

Coaches and teammates recognize Jamar for the way he approaches the game each day. He brings enthusiasm to practice, remains highly coachable, and consistently supports those around him. His willingness to learn, compete, and stay engaged from start to finish demonstrates maturity well beyond his years.
